Hours of browsing may have convinced you to take one up yourself, but do you know, not every challenge is meant for you?

1. Find a challenge that meets your fitness requirements
When deciding on a fitness challenge, take into consideration your requirements. Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to strengthen your muscles? Do you want to tone up? Opt for a challenge that focuses on your goals.

Take into account the current status of your health, and if you have certain dos and don’ts as far as working out is concerned. Exercising does not mean ignoring medical issues. Also, understand if your schedule will allow you to commit for the duration of the challenge

The point is, go through the diet plan the challenge is offering and then take a call on whether you want to take it up or not. Working out a lot and eating less will do you more harm than good.

Following a fitness challenge does not mean you go full throttle every day. Thus, make sure that the challenge you plan to take up allows your body adequate rest. It helps your body adjust to the changes taking place within, so you could enjoy the results at the end of the challenge.
