Tanuja Gomes worked for multinational banks like HSBC and Barclays for over 16 years, driving sales and business development. While she was certainly a leader in the field, her true passion lay in entrepreneurship and music. In 2011, she co-founded the Furtados School of Music. Her vision was to offer universal access to music education, especially since she believes music to be a healing method everyone can depend on. Today, Furtados School of Music has 12 centres across India and Gomes also partners with 200 schools to impart music education to children.
