Ever eaten a Milk Barfi that melts in your mouth! Let’s give a fun twist to this traditional, widely loved sweet. Skip the fancy ingredients and lengthy steps, this colourful funfetti milk barfi needs very few ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
l 450 grams ricotta or crumbled panner
l 400 grams sweetened condensed milk
l 1 tablespoon ghee
l 4 tablespoon milk powder
l 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
l 50 grams rainbow sprinkles
METHOD
1. In a non-stick pan add ricotta, ghee and condensed milk.
2. Cook the mixture on medium-low heat.
3. Keep mixing at regular intervals to avoid the mixture from sticking to the pan.
4. 10 minutes into the cook add the milk powder.
5. Continue to mix until the liquid begins to evaporate and the mixture starts to thicken.
6. This entire process may take about 20-25 minutes.
7. Add the vanilla essence and mix well before turning off heat.
8. Let the mixture cool to room temperature before adding the sprinkles.
9. Now mix till combined.
10. Add the mixture to a dish and spread with a spatula.
11. Top with remaining sprinkles and refrigerate for an hour
12. Now cut into desired shapes and serve.
