Three Sixth-Grader Girls To The Resue
Many people applauded a video of three sixth-graders in Mahe, Kerala, assisting a woman who had fallen unconscious on the road. On a fine evening in December, a woman suddenly fainted and fell to the ground while trying to board a rickshaw, as her sodium levels had dropped. The woman was able to regain consciousness thanks to the prompt involvement of VP Oriental School pupils Ayesha Alona, Kadeeja Kubra, and Nafeesathul Misiriya. The girls mentioned that the auto driver just stood idle when the incident took place. So, they quickly rubbed and warmed the woman’s hands, offered her water, and also pressed her chest to help her regain consciousness.
An appreciation event was held at the school to show how much the teachers and locals appreciate the students. The girls in turn attributed their first aid skills to a lesson they learnt from their teacher at school.
