A recent survey report by Franchise India has revealed that women entrepreneurs in India are successfully managing both their business and family responsibilities. The survey was conducted in several cities, including Pune, Goa, Bhopal, Gurugram, Delhi, Ludhiana, Guwahati and Jaipur, and the report was prepared after talking to 500 women. It revealed that 57 per cent of women who are interested in entrepreneurship are between the ages of 26 and 35, while 27 per cent are between the ages of 18 and 25.
It also shows that three out of 10 women show an interest in entrepreneurship, and 45 per cent of these women are able to balance their family and business commitments, even after getting married.
The report indicates that access to funding is the biggest challenge for women entrepreneurs in India, as only a small percentage of women receive financial support for their ventures. This lack of funding prevents women entrepreneurs from realising their full potential and achieving their goals.
However, despite facing numerous challenges, women entrepreneurs are forging ahead at home and at work.
