Indian golfer Diksha Dagar made India proud by winning her second Ladies European Tour (LET) title with a commanding four-shot victory. Diksha won her first LET title in 2019 and, in 2021, she was a part of the winning team at the Aramco Team Series in London. It was her 79th start on the LET, with two individual wins and nine Top-10 finishes, four of which are from this season.
After a series of Top-10 finishes, three of them in the last four starts, Diksha gave a stunning performance that compiled rounds of 69-65-69 with 13 birdies, an angle and just two bogeys in 54 holes over three rounds.
Diksha played well despite the weather conditions at the Royal Beroun Gold Club, where she had tied fourth in 2021. She is the second Indian to win the LET after Aditi Ashok, who won the Hero Women’s Indian Open in 2016, becoming the first Indian to win on the tour. Diksha is now the second Indian to win in 2023, while Aditi won the Magical Kenya Ladies earlier this season. They’re both the only Indians to have made it successfully at LET.
