This no-fail recipe makes an incredibly moist, and perhaps one of the tastiest banana breads you will find! The best part about this recipe is that it contains no sugar or refined flour, and yet yields a, flavoursome and dense loaf. Yeh recipe bahut hi simple hai, and it is a big hit among kids! RECIPE
Cook Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Serves: Makes 1 loaf
Ingredients:
1. 2 cups whole wheat flour
2. 1 tsp baking powder
3. ½ tsp baking soda
4. 1 tsp cinnamon powder
5. ½ tsp ginger powder
6. ½ cup softened butter
7. ½ cup honey or maple syrup
8. 2 eggs
9. 5 mashed ripe bananas
10. 1 tsp vanilla
11. ½ cup milk
12. ¼ cup walnuts
13. ¼ cup raisins
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180° C, and grease your loaf tin. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, and ginger powder. Mix well and set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, using a hand mixer cream the butter and honey/maple syrup.
- Once it looks fluffy, add in your eggs and mix well.
- Mix in the mashed bananas until combined.
- To this, add in the milk and mix well.
- The batter will now look curdled. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients.
- Once combined, add in some walnuts and raisins.
- Pour your batter into the prepared loaf tin.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Your healthy banana bread is ready!
