Just a simple, straightforward, amazingly delicious, doughy yet still fully cooked, chocolate chip cookie recipe that turns out perfectly every single time!
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 150 grams unsalted butter, melted + slightly cooled
* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 1/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
* 2 Tablespoons honey or maple syrup
* 1 large egg yolk
* 2 Tablespoons
* 1 and 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
METHOD:
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
- To the flour and baking soda mixture, add granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter, honey, egg yolk and milk
- Whisk together until combined. The dough will be soft.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Cover and chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator for minimum 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven at 190°C.
- Scoop cookie dough using an Ice Cream scooper
- Arrange 2 inches apart on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until browned on top and around the sides.
- Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- The cookies will crisp up as they cool.
- Enjoy with coffee.
