The month of June this year brought with it the second edition of the Sustainability Cover for us, at Her Circle. With the focus on the obvious- sustainability, conscious living and the eco-friendly way of life, our cover girl Kalki shed light on the smaller changes that make a bigger impact. Styled in all-sustainable fashion, she sported brands that share the same beliefs in the way they function, produce and sustain.
As seen on Kalki in the interview and behind-the-scenes video, Satat’s earthy-toned earrings fit right in with the shoot's theme and design aesthetic. The earrings, much like all designs from the brand, are made from reclaimed teakwood. The pieces are 100 per cent handmade and use natural materials and dyes like Indigo, Turmeric, Kohl, Dried Beetroot, Indian Madder and more.

Satat’s natural products are also super lightweight and comfortable to wear. The designs feature a natural blend of modern and traditional with intricately carved details and just the right splash of colour and earthy neutrals, complementing the wooden textures. Furthermore, reusing packaging cartons and replacing plastic pouches with ones made of scrap fabric has helped the brand inch closer towards sustainability and conscious fashion.
