All India Art Exhibition
Bombay Art Society's 130th edition of the All India Art Exhibition is all set to take place from March 1 to 7 2022, at the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. The event is one of the most important ones where entries for participation are accepted from across the country. The selected artworks along with award-winning artworks are showcased at the Jehangir Art Gallery. You can expect a mix of artworks from professionals as well as art students at the exhibit.
India Art Fair
India Art Fair is all set to present its 13th edition between February 3 to 6 next year in Delhi. One of the biggest cultural showcases of modern and contemporary art by artists across South Asia, the event is set to include artists like Yayoi Kusama, Amrita Sher-Gil, Anish Kapoor, Bharti Kher and more, as well as talks, performances, films as well as workshops apart from art showcases.
India Craft Week
India Craft Week (ICW) is set to bring together not just craftspersons but also artisans, makers, and designers along with different institutions from India and the world. ICW will take place in New Delhi from January 14 to 17, 2022. ICW has been recognised as the second-largest Craft Week in the world and is supported by World Craft Council, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), British Council, and showcases crafts under different segments like – Craft Heritage, Craft Masterclass, Craft Rare, Craft Panorama, Craft International, Craft Luxe, Craft Discover, Craft Cinema, Craft Symposium and Craft Installations.
Art Grooves Art Fair
Started by artist Poornima Dayal during the Covid-19 lockdown in early 2020, Art Grooves is an online art exhibition that brings together artists from different cities on one online platform. Its second online art fair is already underway and is set to continue until 28th Feb 2022. The showcase includes works from painters as well as photographers including Triveni Mahajan, Ambika Vij, Arinjoy Dhar, Leher Ali and many more.

Invasion Of The Seas, Mandy Baker | Sunaparanta, Goa
International award-winning photographer Mandy Barker’s exhibition of photography titled Invasion of the Seas will take place from December 8, 2021 to 23 January, 2022. The showcase includes the artist’s latest works that feature research and images from the scientific mission to one of the world’s most remote places, Henderson Island which was said o be polluted with 38 million pieces of plastic waste. The showcase also includes notebooks documenting Barker’s travels and everyday objects found at beaches highlighting the contamination our marine biodiversity has been put through over the last few decades.

Strange Attractors, Bharti Kher | Nature Morte, New Delhi
Artist Bharti Kher’s latest exhibition of sculptures is already underway and is set to take place until 9 January 2022 at Nature Morte in New Delhi. The sculptures on showcase include works by the artist from 2017 to 2021. “The title of the exhibition, “Strange Attractors,” refers to a mathematical concept elaborated within Chaos Theory, that all matter is unique and non-arbitrary. Never closing in on themselves, strange attractors remain constantly in motion. The artist aligns her process to this idea, and approaches the making of sculpture as dynamic encounters,” said Nature Morte’s website about the latest showcase.
