Today, times have changed and Indian women are breaking all barriers and glass ceilings all over the world and in every field possible–think politics, fitness, sports and more. In fact, 36 per cent of Indian women were a part of a workforce in 2021 and the number is only projected to increase in the coming years. For the longest time, women have been dependant on the male members in their lives for their finances but today, they’re taking over. An institute that recognises the importance of financial freedom and that aims to empower women in India is Orane International School of Beauty and Wellness. It understands the fact that women wear different caps every single moment of every day, making it even more important for them to strike a balance between work and their personal lives. The institute has in the past and continues to provide support to less privileged women by offering them beauty courses. Three women from the beauty school tell us how being financially independent has changed their lives.
