Easy-to-execute Halloween looks aren’t—contrary to popular opinion—a myth. There are two types of people in the world, some who pre-plan their entire Halloween getup months in advance and some who dread the very idea of coming up with a costume. If you’re a part of the latter group, don’t worry. We poked around on social media to find some examples of beginner-friendly Halloween looks that you can recreate in a jiffy.
The best part? Some of these looks need just two or three products and you’re good to go. For more proof on how last-minute Halloween makeup doesn’t need to be lame, keep scrolling…
Go the euphoria way

Nail the dreamy unique aesthetic of the hit HBO show Euphoria by loading up on silver glitter and matte black eyeshadow and stick-on crystals. All you need for this look is this e.l.f. Cosmetics Earth & Ocean Eyeshadow Palette (₹ 1,900) and some patience. Our favourite part is that the show had so many amazing makeup looks, you can easily pick one and make it your own!
Angel versus Devil

Feeling a tad bit adventurous? You can try this good-meets-evil look with the Makeup Revolution Reloaded Combo palettes (₹ 950). Simply begin by swiping on some red and black eyeshadow on one eye. On the other, dab some white eyeshadow or liner and add multiple coats of mascara.
Want to opt for an easier version of this look? Stick to red and black eyeliner on one eye and a white cat-eye shape on the other. Finish off with some stick-on rhinestones on your angel side and you’re set.
Vampy devil princess

Going for a classic costume idea like dressing up as the Devil can be quite the timesaver. Simply use red eyeliner or unused red lipstick as a liner on your lids and finish off with a dark vampy lip colour. To really give your look a boost, you can also opt for red contact lenses.
Channel your inner spider-woman

To get this look, all you need is black eyeliner–gel, pencil, pot, pen, or even liquid, anything goes. Go to town with the inky formula and draw on a spider web, no precision needed.
Pro tip: When using eyeliner on your face, make sure you set it to avoid smudging. Pick a great setting spray and spritz it all over your face. Let it dry and repeat this step two to three times.
Batwoman looks great too!

You can skip dressing up as an actual bat to nail this look. For an easy cut crease, close your eye and place a spoon on your lid in a way that it sits on your crease. Swipe on some colourful eyeshadow and blend well. For your lash line, grab a pen eyeliner and sketch a bat-winged eyeliner.
The easiest way to shape the wings correctly includes arming yourself with some Q-tips and eye makeup remover. Gently wipe away the parts of eyeliner that you want to erase and that’s it.
