Fuller’s Earth And Rose Water Face Mask
What it does: Before there were exotic clays from far off lands, there was multani mitti or Fuller’s earth that did the task of absorbing excess sebum from pores. Rose water will be your BFF, especially if you have blotchy or irritated, reddish blemishes as it balances the skin’s pH level.
What you need:
1 tablespoon of Fuller’s earth (multani mitti)
2 tablespoons of pure rose water
Method: Mix the two together till you get a smooth paste. Apply to your face and wash off when it is semi-dry.
Pro tip: Don’t wait till the mask has fully dried to wash it off. This will make it suck the moisture from your skin, throwing it in an oily frenzy.

Cucumber, Honey And Yoghurt Face Mask
What it does: Cucumber is one of the best ingredients for oily, acne-prone skin because it is incredibly soothing and cooling as well as a natural astringent (read: tightens and cleans pores). Honey moisturises and repairs skin whereas yoghurt is rich in lactic acid, a very mild exfoliating agent. These work in sync to tone and tighten skin, and in other words, are serious shiny complexion fighters.
What you need:
2 teaspoons of cucumber juice
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of yoghurt
Method: Mix all the ingredients together and apply on your face. Wash off after 10 minutes.
